AUDITIONS

for the National Premiere of

EMPEROR & GALILEAN

December 8 & 9, 2014

DECEMBER 8th: Any person interested in a non-speaking ensemble role and ALL MEN can come to this audition.

Women in Room C-202

Men in the Auditorium

Men, come in athletic clothes and be ready to get physical.

We are looking for:

WARRIORS: Athletic Men

STUDENT/PRIESTS/ECT: Men

ATTENDANTS/STUDENTS/ECT: Women

All of the above are non-speaking roles

DECEMBER 9th: Any person interested in a lead role can come to this audition.

You will need to perform a 30-60 second monologue written by either Henrik Ibsen, August Strindberg, or Anton Chekhov.

Sign up for and audition time outside C-202 starting December 3.

MEN AUDITIONING FOR A LEAD ROLE: In addition to these auditions you ALSO need to come to the physicality auditions on December 8 in the auditorium.

WOMEN AUDITIONING FOR A LEAD ROLE: You will only need to come to these auditions.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals for Ensemble will be 1-2 times per week from January through February, and then everyday after school for the first two weeks of March. Rehearsals for Leads begin January 18th after school. Lead roles will not have to be at rehearsal every day but will have more rehearsals than ensemble members.

The show performs March 19-21, 2015 in the HHS Auditorium

ANYONE who is a Hillcrest student is invited to audition.
