Wow. Thank you to
all who auditioned. We had over 150 kids
audition for the play over the last two days.
This was significantly more than we expected.
PLEASE
NOTE: Unfortunately, we will not be able to cast everyone who auditioned, as
there is simply not enough room on our stage for that many kids.
Look for a final cast list Friday morning to see who
will be invited to join the production.
CALL-BACKS:
We
will need to see some of you at call-backs on Thursday. Please note that we are not holding
call-backs for all of the speaking roles.
So even if you don’t get called back, that doesn’t mean that you aren’t
still in consideration for a speaking role.
This list is not even the list of the best auditions we saw, just the
kids that could possibly fit the roles we are reading for at call-backs. Some of you did a really great job on your
monologue, but you just didn’t fit any of the roles we will be reading
for.
However,
if you are on the call-back list below, please be in the Theatre Room (C-202)
at 2:30 on Thursday. We will start
promptly at 2:30, so don’t be late. The
call-backs will last until we know how to cast the show. So this could very well go into the
evening. Be prepared to stay late. At call-backs, you will be asked to read from
different scenes in the show. Sides
(copies of the scenes you will be reading at call-backs) will be available at
7:00am tomorrow morning in the Theatre Room.
Pick up your copies ASAP and study them.
You do NOT need to try and memorize them.
